UK MBA Graduate Hiring - BDE - Client Services

Infosys invites you to be at the helm of its business driving function; by being part of a rapidly growing 350+ Europe team who function as the collective P&L owners of $6B dollars of annual business. The role involves managing key account(s) in Europe across industry verticals like: BFS (Banking and Financial Services), CMT (Communication, Media and Technology), COREMFG (Manufacturing), CRL (Consumer, Retail and Logistics), Healthcare, Insurance, Life Sciences, SURE (Services, Utilities, Resources and Energy), Equinox (Commerce and Marketing with annual sales revenues ranging from 5‑50+ Million GBP). You will be responsible for managing C/C‑1 level relationships, positioning Infosys products and services, consultative selling, negotiating & structuring multi‑year multi‑million‑euro services or bundled services + products deals. As part of the account team, you would be solely responsible for managing existing revenues from key account(s) as well as driving YoY revenue growth from either existing account(s) OR by prospecting & opening new account(s). The role exposes you to a wide variety of IT services such as Cloud (CIS), Cyber Security, Data Analytics, ERP Systems, Emerging Technologies, and many others. As part of client services, you would be expected to collaborate with multiple stakeholders within Infosys to craft solutions pitched to C‑level client executives. As a management graduate, you would be at the forefront of business decisions and highly visible within Infosys and the C/C‑1 level of Infosys clients and prospects. Via exposure to all the services that the IT world has to offer, you will drive the digitisation journey of world’s leading firms and conglomerates.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development – Hunting
    • Client Discovery & Initial Prospecting: conduct competitive analysis, collaborate with UPAM team, identify prospects, initiate communication with C‑level executives.
    • Stakeholder Alignment: ensure that client or prospect involves Infosys in their RFP process; act as single point of contact and align technical and supporting stakeholders.
    • Proposal Development & Pricing: create proposals and SoWs, coordinate with delivery, procurement, and legal, perform quantitative analysis to recommend win‑price.
    • Proposal Negotiation & Closure: create customer map, provide supporting analyses, articulate business value, win the deal at the right price premium.
    • Contracting and Master Service Agreement: provide business‑led view on contract negotiations, identify problematic clauses, evaluate competitor terms, make decisions on discounts.
  • Account Management & Growth – Farming
    • Account Planning and Mining: map business areas for growth, secure meetings with new stakeholders, mine account for new deals.
    • Customer Stakeholder Management: single point of contact for escalations, maintain regular contact, participate in executive reviews, identify key stakeholders for CSAT and ELF.
    • Account Operations: oversee revenue receipt and recognition, align with client stakeholders, review operations, liaise with service delivery units.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn quickly regarding the business processes of the client, Infosys\' processes, and service lines.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
  • The ability to display initiative and work in an unstructured environment is a must.
  • Comfortable and excited to be in a customer‑facing level.
  • Understand basics of financial drivers for an IT organization.
  • Drafting business cases for client pitches.
  • Global understanding of the economy to make sane judgments in negotiations.
  • No necessity of background of a student in this business or IT field.

The candidate should treat the interview process as a consultative evaluation. Interview will involve rigorous questioning of the CV, hypothetical scenarios, and solutions to illustrate consulting skills. Understanding of service lines in Infosys is a bonus.
