Communicate daily with the architect and generate detailed technical designs and documentation. Take an active role in in developing delivery schedules. In addition to hands-on implementation of a number of 5G SA Network Functions, oversee and support the daily activities of other developers on the team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Solve Business Problems:</strong> Research solutions to solve problems and develop product</li><li><strong>Groom Backlog: </strong>Develop detailed requirements working peers such as Product managers, Network Engineers and Architects. Effectively transform product requirements into a solution backlog complete with definition of all required components and their interworking and acceptance criteria.</li><li><strong>Ensure Architectural Alignment:</strong> Work closely with team and stakeholders to review and refine system designs, ensuring the product’s security and network components are robust, well-integrated, with the right level of observability and the right unit-economics.</li><li><strong>Leverage Cellular Expertise: </strong>Leverage domain expertise in Cellular networks (3GPP standards, deployment, operations) to build a cutting-edge Celluar Core SaaS product.</li><li><strong>Create Design & Documentation Artifacts:</strong> Produce and maintain detailed technical designs, specifications, and documentation to guide both current development and future enhancements.</li><li><strong>Implementation:</strong> Directly develop and implement network components using technologies like Java, various databases, and network analysis tools (e.g., pcap, Wireshark, tcpdump).</li><li><strong>Schedule Planning: </strong>Actively contribute to setting and managing delivery schedules to meet launch</li><li>deadlines.</li><li><strong>Team Oversight:</strong> Oversee and support the daily activities of other developers, including mentoring, code reviews, and troubleshooting, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the project.</li><li><strong>Technical Troubleshooting: </strong>Address complex technical challenges and optimize network performance.</li><li><strong>Adoption of New Technologies</strong>: Integrate emerging AI-powered tools and methodologies to enhance development processes.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Mandatory Telecom domain experience</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Experience in some of the 3GPP Cellular Network Standards like below:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Familiarity with 3GPP Rel 15 and later</li><li>Cellular identifiers (ICCID, IMSI, MSISDN, IMEI)</li><li>2G/3G (SS7), 4G (Diameter), 5G SA (HTTP/2)</li><li>AAA/RADIUS, SMS, SMPP</li><li>VoLTE</li><li>API Development & Security</li><li>Oath2</li><li>PKI</li><li>mTLS, SSL</li><li>IP networks: packet inspection, routing, IP allocation & assignment, subnets, CIDR specification, IPV6</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Must have skills:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>AI-powered coding assistants and effective prompt engineering, and use GenAI for technical research and documentation.</li><li>Git source control & release compliance</li><li>Critical thinking</li><li>Excellent communicator: able to effectively express ideas and concepts, in both written and</li><li>spoken forms.
