Position Overview The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) based in North India – Offsite is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of named enterprise and Greenfield accounts across the region. The SAM serves as the primary TrendAI™ executive sponsor for each account, driving deep customer relationships, multi-year revenue growth, and competitive account protection.

The SAM collaborates closely with pre-sales engineering, professional services, channel partners, and marketing to deliver TrendAI™’s full AI-powered security platform value proposition to C-level stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed Quarterly and Annual sales targets.
  • Prospect for new business across assigned territories or accounts.
  • Proactive coverage / call clients to initiate sales opportunities.
  • Assess client needs and present suitable products, services and solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts to close sales deals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver excellent service to clients.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
  • Participate in exhibitions, conferences and networking events.
  • Analyze sales data and activity to identify areas for improvement.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion and closing skills.
  • Tenacity and perseverance in prospecting and closing deals.
  • Ability to build rapport and long-lasting relationships.
  • Consultative selling skills to understand client needs.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Represent TrendAI™ at industry conferences, trade shows, and executive forums to strengthen brand presence and customer relationships
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing and demand generation programs targeting strategic accounts
  • Document and maintain all account information, opportunity data, and executive contact records in Salesforce
Experience
  • 10-15 + years’ experience in Account Management in Information Technology / Security solutions companies.
  • Experience of selling solutions to Government sectors.
  • Ability to effectively engage with Big4 consultants.
  • Working knowledge and experience in selling key cybersecurity, networking and IT products and solutions, as well as knowledge of top competitive solutions in the market
  • Strong knowledge of Virtualization and cloud based solutions preferred
  • Pattern of quantifiable success in large account management and selling strategies
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT or Management with equivalent work experience preferred
