About the Role

Beast Industries runs mobile experiences at serious scale — across media, mobile gaming, and creator platforms — all generating signals and requests from clients we don't fully trust by default. We're looking for a senior security engineer to own the boundary between our mobile clients and backend services: the systems that determine whether a request, a session, or an account is legitimate.

You'll be the threat-modeling and systems-design owner for device attestation, account integrity, and server-authoritative detection/enforcement against bad actors — fraud rings, bot farms, credential stuffing, and abuse at scale. This is a build-and-lead role: you'll set technical direction, write production code, and grow a team around you.

What You'll Own

    Device & session integrity

    — attestation, session enforcement, and authentication hardening across native mobile clients and the backends behind them

      Abuse & fraud defense

      — design and run detection/enforcement systems that stay ahead of adversarial, adaptive bad actors operating across our consumer and fintech surfaces

        Roadmap & strategy

        — define the multi-quarter security roadmap for account integrity and abuse defense, balancing user trust, growth, and risk

          Team leadership

          — lead and grow a team of engineers spanning mobile and backend; set technical bar, review designs, mentor

          What We're Looking For

          • 8 to 10+ years in security engineering, with deep experience defending consumer-scale mobile products (hundreds of millions of users/sessions a plus) against account takeover, bot abuse, and fraud
          • Proven ownership of an end-to-end security domain — not just tooling, but the roadmap, the team, and the outcomes
          • Strong systems design instincts: you've built server-authoritative detection pipelines, attestation systems, or similar adversarial-facing infrastructure at scale
          • Hands-on across native mobile (iOS/Android) client internals and the distributed backend services they talk to — you understand both sides of the trust boundary
          • Comfortable operating in Go (or similar) on a major cloud provider (AWS preferred); platform reliability and cost discipline are part of how you think about security, not an afterthought
          • Experience leading engineers (formally or as a tech lead) across disciplines

          Why This Role

You'd be one of the first dedicated owners of this space at Beast Industries, with the scope to define how we think about trust, abuse, and integrity across media, fintech, and creator products that reach an enormous, highly engaged audience — and the latitude to build the team and systems from a position of real technical ownership.

Compensation: $205,000 –$256,000 base + 15% bonus + equity (Note: Compensation will vary based on seniority/level)
