Pay Scale & Salary: Pay Level-1 of 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix (Basic Pay Rs. 18,000/- to Rs. 56,900/- plus DA, HRA, Transport Allowance)

Selection Process:

  • Computer Based Examination (CBE) in 15 languages (Hindi, English and 13 Regional Languages)
  • Session-I: Numerical & Mathematical Ability (20 Qs, 60 Marks) + Reasoning Ability (20 Qs, 60 Marks) — Qualifying, No Negative Marking
  • Session-II: General Awareness (25 Qs, 75 Marks) + English Language & Comprehension (25 Qs, 75 Marks) — Merit Deciding, 1 Mark Negative
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST) — For Havaldar posts only (Walking: 1600m in 15 min for Males, 1 km in 20 min for Females)
  • Document Verification (DV) conducted by User Departments / Offices
