Responsibilities The focus of the Domain Solution Architect role is to Make the Market and drive Digital Transformation and Modernization Solutions with deeper focus on the Technology and Service Offerings that are specific to each of the Microsoft Consulting Services Domains. The Architect also plays a key role in driving the entire lifecycle of large and complex projects, early pre-sales, delivery oversight and also responsible for architectural and technical success for our customers. They will lead in identifying and creatively solving complex customer problems, envisioning and enabling critical processes, and fundamentally helping the customer to achieve their objectives. The Architect must be effective in fostering senior level relationships. They also play a key role in employing, leveraging partners as part of the overall Microsoft services delivery model The Architects responsibilities will include: Drive & Accelerate production-level Cloud Solutions in line with Customer and Microsoft strategy. Make the Market with innovative Digital Transformation and Modernization projects. Providing customer guidance during envisioning solution & benefits, defining workloads & methodology, project scope and sizing. Drive a positive Customer Experience by providing high quality delivery on strategic, complex deals, demonstrate Technical Leadership: Create Clarity, Generate Energy and Deliver Success Playing a vital part in business strategy by providing risk assessment, reviewing proposals, identifying new Services development area based on market trends, and customer expectations. Driving successful solution deployments by ensuring proper business value and customer/partner satisfaction. Technically driving Microsoft and partners team to secure delivery of the solution in the defined scope of work. Growing the business through mentoring, talent pipeline development, and community evangelism and sharing experiences to develop assets within the Azure Community. Growing the Business by transforming Services opportunity to Projects with intentional selling of applicable packaged Microsoft Services Offerings. Provide guidance and support around scope definition and solution architecture during services sales cycle and make it a winning proposal. Driving operational excellence and innovation, leveraging new ideas contributing to increase Microsoft value to customers. Experience required for this role includes: Engagement / Stakeholder management. Successfully demonstrated leadership in 5+ years as solution architecture for enterprise class customers. Excellent Communication (up / down/ peers). Proven track level in business domain & technical conversation. Holistic Infrastructure solution, design and architecture. Proven experience in presales and closing . Previous track record delivering the full project life cycle. A strong focus on below technologies is required: Deep domain expertise of cloud infrastructure solutions including Subscription Design, Identity and access management, Network topology and connectivity, Storage, Monitoring, Compute. Knowledge on Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Well Architecture Framework (WAF), Zero Trust Security Framework. Knowledge on Application Architecture, Migration of Infrastructure services to Azure IaaS / Pass, Greenfield deployment- optimization of applications, automation using Infrastructure-as-Code. Knowledge on Networking fundamentals- VNet, ExpressRoute, vWAN, Ingress/Egress patterns and services. Knowledge about OSS, Docker Containers, Kubernetes and related architectures. Knowledge On Various DevOps Tools and Technologies: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub. Knowledge on using integrated development environments - Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code. Other Embody our culture and values Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) relevant to Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering. At least 12 years related IT experience with Solution Architecture having experience in enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management. Work experience should involve pre-sales support on large deals in technical consulting, solution design of complex solutions, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment, and Team management. Must have a proven record of delivering business value and proven trust-relationships with CxO, ITDM, BDM The job may require travel.
