We're reimagining education through technology, engaging content, and a student-first approach.</p><p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We're looking for a Social Media & Content Strategist to own and grow Vedantu Early Learning's organic presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and YouTube. This is a hands-on role — you'll plan, create, and optimize content that builds an engaged community of parents (30–55) and captures the attention of their kids (4–16), growing reach and engagement without relying on paid amplification. You'll manage multiple channels/pages simultaneously and take ownership of the creator layer — identifying, onboarding, and coaching the on-camera "faces" who front our content. Instagram is the primary battleground; strength there is non-negotiable, and range across other platforms is a strong plus.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Own the organic content strategy and calendar across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and YouTube — reels, carousels, posts, stories, and community-first formats.</li><li>Manage multiple social channels/pages in parallel, each with its own audience, tone, and content cadence.</li><li>Identify, onboard, and manage the "faces" of our pages — the on-camera talent/hosts who anchor video and reel content — including scripting support, coaching on delivery, and ensuring consistency across shoots.</li><li>Drive Instagram growth specifically: hooks, trends, formats, posting cadence, and audience-building tactics tailored to a parent audience.</li><li>Build and nurture community channels (e.g., WhatsApp groups/broadcast lists) to deepen engagement beyond follower counts.</li><li>Track and report on performance (follower growth, reach, engagement rate, saves/shares) and translate insights into iteration on content strategy.</li><li>Stay current on platform algorithm shifts, format trends, and what's working in the parenting/kids content space.</li><li>Partner closely with content and design teams to keep creative execution sharp and on-brand.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Must-Haves</strong></p><ul><li>3–7 years total experience, including managing social media for a B2C brand</li><li>Proven expertise in Instagram growth — specifically, at least one stint growing an account from under 100K followers by a minimum of 50K organically (ideally within the 0–50K range)</li><li>Experience managing multiple social pages/channels simultaneously</li><li>Experience sourcing, onboarding, or working with on-camera talent/creators for content</li><li>Strong grasp of Instagram's algorithm, content formats, and organic growth levers</li><li>Experience on other platforms (YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp) is a plus</li><li>Comfort creating content that speaks to both parents and kids — tone, format, and hooks differ for each</li></ul><p><br></p>
