You will evaluate network and IT technologies, validate solutions through laboratory testing and proofs of concept, manage ArcGIS interfaces and APIs, and ensure that technical deliveries are sustainable, timely and aligned with customer requirements and Vodafone strategy. ## What you’ll do * Evaluate emerging network and IT technologies and ensure solutions align with company strategy. * Define and validate fit-for-purpose GIS and OSS solutions, including laboratory testing and proof-of-concept validation. * Support ArcGIS platforms, integrations and interfaces. * Support and manage new APIs. * Collaborate with OSS, IT architecture, network architecture, service design, business analysis, customer and vendor teams. * Contribute to strategic roadmaps and deliver development enhancements. * Manage external technical deliveries and ensure they remain sustainable for ongoing support. * Document risks and define appropriate mitigation plans. * Run project governance, reporting, project meetings and data-repository updates. * Produce comprehensive IT specifications, business-case inputs and impact assessments. * Lead vendor engagements and support live deployments. * Ensure technical deliveries meet agreed timelines, budgets, specifications and quality standards. ## Who you are * You have strong knowledge and experience of GIS solutions, radio planning and performance-management systems. * You understand REST APIs and have experience with Python, shell scripting and .NET. * You have a practical understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. * You have previous experience in OSS or network design. * You hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant IT or engineering discipline. * You bring at least 10 years’ telecommunications experience in a development or delivery role. * You can prioritise competing requirements and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
