Location: Remote and/or hybrid, US or Ontario province About the role We are looking for a Senior Account Director to join our Client Service team and play a key role in leading Medical Affairs communications across a portfolio of oncology programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to support multiple pre-launch oncology assets that are progressing toward launch, while helping shape how healthcare professionals engage with medical information through innovative digital and creative communications. Working as part of a large, collaborative account team and supported by experienced scientific specialists, you will lead client relationships, drive strategic conversations, and ensure excellence in delivery across complex workstreams. Reporting to the VP, Client Partnerships, you will be responsible for the overall health and growth of the accounts, building trusted client partnerships, providing strategic counsel, and supporting the delivery of high-quality programmes that meet client objectives and business goals. What you'll do Lead strategic client relationships across multiple oncology Medical Affairs workstreams. Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic and commercial insight that supports client objectives and strengthens partnerships. Oversee the successful delivery of programmes, ensuring projects are delivered to agreed quality standards, budgets, and timelines. Support innovative digital and creative healthcare professional (HCP) engagement initiatives. Drive account growth through identification of new opportunities and development of proposals for existing clients. Partner closely with scientific, editorial, project management, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions. Maintain a strong understanding of oncology, relevant market dynamics, and evolving client priorities.Lead account planning, forecasting, and financial performance discussions to support business targets. Proactively identify risks and challenges, developing solutions that support long-term account success. Mentor and support colleagues across the wider client services team while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Contribute to pitch opportunities, proposals, and broader business development initiatives where appropriate About you Experience in a client services role at Account Director or Senior Account Director level within a healthcare communications agency. Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while providing strategic counsel. Experience managing complex accounts, multiple stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of account growth, forecasting, and financial management. Experience supporting oncology programmes is desirable but not essential. Experience supporting digital communications and creative healthcare engagement programmes would be beneficial. Comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with scientific and client service teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
