*Job Description***SAP Functional Lead (Solution Architect - Track)Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Lead who is ready to transition into a Solution Architect role. This position is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in one or more SAP functional modules and a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across the SAP ecosystem.The ideal candidate will be capable of driving cross-functional solution design, leading business and technical discussions, and delivering scalable, integrated SAP solutions. Rather than focusing on a single module, you will play a key role in designing enterprise-wide solutions that align with business objectives and SAP best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business process discovery workshops and translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

Design end-to-end business solutions across multiple SAP functional domains. Drive solution architecture discussions with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams. Lead functional design activities for SAP implementations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.

Ensure seamless integration between SAP modules and external enterprise applications. Review solution designs for scalability, maintainability, and alignment with SAP best practices. Provide functional leadership during project execution, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.

Collaborate with ABAP, Integration, Basis, and technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, reports, workflows, and integrations. Mentor functional consultants and provide guidance on solution design and best practices. Participate in solution estimation, architecture reviews, project planning, and technical governance.

Evaluate SAP S/4HANA innovations, emerging SAP technologies, and industry best practices for customer adoption. Support pre-sales initiatives by contributing to solution design, effort estimation, proposal development, and client presentations when required. Required Skills & Experience10-15 years of SAP Functional Consulting experience. Strong expertise in one or more SAP functional modules such as: MM SD PP QM PM EWM WM FICO or other relevant SAP functional modules.

Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP business processes across multiple functional domains. Hands-on experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementations.

Experience in multiple end-to-end SAP implementation lifecycle projects. Strong knowledge of integration between SAP functional modules.

Experience collaborating with ABAP, Basis, Integration, and technical teams. Ability to translate complex business requirements into integrated SAP solutions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. Proven experience leading functional teams, workstreams, or solution delivery. Preferred QualificationsExposure to SAP Solution Architecture or Enterprise Architecture practices.

Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation and migration programs. Knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Cloud solutions is an added advantage.

Experience across industries such as Manufacturing, Retail, Logistics, or other enterprise environments. SAP Certification(s) are preferred but not mandatory.
