DescriptionAmazon’s Global Transportation & Logistics Team is looking for an experienced Reverse Logistics Manager to own the transportation of IT assets across various programs to include liquidation and reverse logistics. This is an exciting opportunity to make history by becoming a member of a team whose purpose is to solve complex logistics challenges and create unprecedented customer experiences on a daily basis. This role will require working with business teams across the company and around the world to figure out supply chain solutions for new products/programs and existing operations.Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines delivering results. Work in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment focused on innovation. Build out processes for operations. Communicate data insights to others. Manage full lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact across multiple organizations Be accountable for meeting and exceeding operational goals and performance metrics. Convey updates on issues, operational status and business drivers during shift changes as needed throughout the activity cycle and during daily/weekly/monthly reviews. Manage multi-regional reverse logistics requests daily. Own the relationship with our liquidation partners, evaluating and expanding the vendor base for the best results Ensure up to date and accurate statistics, management reports and analysis are available and maintained, internally and externally. Eliminate any roadblocks to ensure on time service with maximum value working with various groups including operations, supply chain, finance, transportation, legal, procurement. Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed and ensuring service requirements are met. Own forecasting for liquidation recovery and report regularly on financial recovery to leadership. Partner with RAD Ops teams to improve process, efficiency, and flexibility for liquidation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Working closely with customer service, procurement, and operations to ensure a seamless reverse logistics process.To excel in this role, a reverse logistics manager typically requires a combination of supply chain management experience, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of logistics and distribution.
