PT Remote Government Bill Specialist

Our client, is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company, is adding part-time finance and billing support for a new federally funded program. This is a consulting engagement of 15 to 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule, expected to run 12 months or longer. The role supports financial administration and reimbursement activities tied to a federal government agreement, working alongside Finance, Accounting, an outside consultant, and internal project teams. Experience with this specific federal program is not required. Candidates from any regulated environment, including government contracting, biotech, and pharma, are a fit. Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly accruals for the program • Compile cost documentation, supporting schedules, and financial records • Prepare and submit reimbursement packages on schedule • Review costs against the agreement and applicable federal requirements • Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, the outside consultant, and project teams • Support forecasting and tracking of program costs • Maintain audit-ready supporting documentation Qualifications: • Three or more years in finance, accounting, government contracting, billing, or project finance • Experience with government contracts, grants, or federally funded programs strongly preferred • Background preparing reimbursement requests, invoices, or accruals • Strong Excel skills and close attention to detail • Ability to organize financial information independently and hit deadlines • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred Apply To this Job Company : KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting Salary : Work from home
