Prompt Engineer

Location: Delhi / Hybrid
Experience: 1 year
Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a Prompt Engineer who can understand client requirements and turn them into AI-generated videos and AI-powered video experiences using advanced prompting and the latest AI tools, working closely with our product and engineering teams.

This is a hybrid role between prompt engineering, AI video creation, and technology. You should be comfortable experimenting with AI tools and prompts, creating videos through prompting, building prototypes, and taking them toward production.

Key Responsibilities

Understand client requirements and use cases and convert them into clear video concepts, scripts, workflows, and specifications.

Create AI videos using prompt engineering with video, image, voice, and avatar generation tools.

Design, test, and refine structured prompts, prompt templates, and reusable prompt libraries for consistent, high-quality outputs.

Build and configure AI-powered video experiences/products using Dilogs AI.

Write and optimize prompts for text, video, voice, characters, and other generative AI workflows, iterating based on output quality.

Experiment with different AI models and tools to improve quality, consistency, accuracy, and output.

Build quick POCs and prototypes to validate ideas.

Understand the basics of APIs, webhooks, JSON, REST APIs, integrations, and other technical concepts.

Coordinate with engineering, product, design, and AI teams to take requirements from concept to deployment.

Troubleshoot implementation and output issues.

Assist in creating demo flows, scripts, storyboards, AI characters, and video concepts.

Maintain documentation for requirements, prompts and prompt versions, configurations, workflows, and implementation details.

Continuously explore new AI tools, models, prompting techniques, and workflows that can improve Dilogs AI products.

What We're Looking For

Strong interest in Generative AI, AI agents, AI video, and emerging AI technologies.

Hands-on ability to create videos using AI tools through prompting.

Strong prompt engineering skills, including prompt structuring, iteration, and understanding how different models respond to prompts.

Genuine interest in the technical side of AI, including how models, tools, and platforms work.

Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into the right prompts and video outputs.

Basic technical knowledge of APIs and API integrations, JSON, webhooks, REST APIs, basic debugging, and how frontend/backend systems interact.

Strong problem-solving and execution mindset.

Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment where requirements can change quickly.

Ability to learn new AI tools and technologies independently.

Good to Have

Experience with AI video generation, avatars, digital humans, TTS/STT, LLMs or image generation.

Experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, Runway, Veo, ElevenLabs or similar AI platforms.

Basic scripting knowledge in Python or JavaScript.

Experience working with APIs using Postman or similar tools.

Basic video editing or storyboarding skills.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you should be able to:

Understand the requirement → Define the use case → Write the prompts → Generate and iterate the AI video → Coordinate with engineering → Deploy the solution.

Ideal Candidate

You don't need to be a hardcore software engineer.

We are looking for someone who is curious about the tech side of AI, skilled at prompting to create high-quality AI videos, and able to understand what a client needs.

The ideal Prompt Engineer is someone who can understand a requirement, turn it into a prompt-driven AI video prototype using the right tools, and work with engineering to take it toward production.
