ABOUT THE ROLE

TRooTech Business Solutions is hiring a Presales Microsoft Dynamics 365 Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and exceptional client-facing pre-sales and technical consulting skills. The ideal candidate should be capable of participating in client discussions, understanding business and technical requirements, and explaining complex Dynamics 365 technical concepts in a simple and convincing manner.

The candidate will act as a bridge between the client, sales team, and technical delivery team, ensuring that technical discussions are clearly understood and translated into practical solution approaches. The role requires someone who is comfortable leading technical conversations, explaining technical limitations and dependencies, presenting solution architecture, answering client queries, and guiding clients toward the right technical solution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the technical point of contact during client calls, understanding business requirements and translating them into appropriate Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Lead client-facing technical discussions and explain technical concepts, architecture, integrations, customizations, limitations, dependencies, and implementation approaches in a clear and business-friendly manner.
  • Break down complex technical topics into simple, understandable explanations without losing technical accuracy.
  • Answer client questions around how a proposed solution will work, why it is required, its limitations, dependencies, feasibility, and recommended approach.
  • Participate in discovery and requirement-gathering calls, identify technical requirements, and convert discussions into solution approaches and actionable requirements for the delivery team.
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide technical inputs, solution recommendations, effort estimations, feasibility assessments, and implementation approaches.
  • Conduct solution walkthroughs, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and Proof of Concept (POC) sessions for prospective clients.
  • Prepare and contribute to RFP/RFI responses, proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), solution documents, architecture diagrams, and technical presentations.
  • Clearly communicate scope, assumptions, dependencies, integrations, risks, timelines, and technical constraints to clients before project initiation.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure that solutions presented during pre-sales are technically feasible and can be implemented successfully.
  • Build client confidence through strong technical depth, consulting skills, business understanding, and communication ability.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to Dynamics 365 implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Expert knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE: Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Operations, and Marketing modules.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance & Operations) or Business Central, including relevant financial, supply chain, manufacturing, and inventory processes.
  • Proficiency in Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Strong skills in customization using C#, JavaScript, Plugins, Custom Workflows, PCF controls, and X++ (for F&O).
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 integrations including Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, Data Integrator, and third-party middleware.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps for ALM in Dynamics 365 projects.
  • Familiarity with Dataverse schema design, security model, and solution layering.

PRE-SALES & CLIENT-FACING REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in client-facing technical consulting, solution consulting, or pre-sales within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
  • Ability to independently lead technical discussions with clients and confidently communicate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and C-level decision makers.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solution options and explain the recommended approach to clients.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, non-technical language while maintaining technical accuracy.
  • Experience handling technical questions, objections, feasibility concerns, scope discussions, and solution limitations during client calls.
  • Experience preparing RFP/RFI responses, proposals, SOWs, effort estimations, technical presentations, and solution documents.
  • Experience conducting discovery sessions, solution walkthroughs, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and POCs.
  • Ability to create and present high-level architecture diagrams, integration approaches, implementation plans, assumptions, dependencies, and risks.
  • Ability to work closely with sales and delivery teams to qualify opportunities and develop technically sound and commercially viable solutions.
  • Strong documentation and proposal-writing skills.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong functional knowledge of CRM processes such as lead management, opportunity pipeline, and service case lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of ERP processes such as P2P, O2C, R2R, budgeting, supply chain, manufacturing, and inventory.
  • Ability to conduct business process workshops and translate requirements into Dynamics 365 configurations.
  • Experience with data migration strategies using DIXF, KingswaySoft, or Azure Data Factory.
  • Familiarity with ISV solutions within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of total IT experience with at least 5–6 years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and/or F&O/Business Central implementation and consulting.
  • Strong experience in client-facing technical consulting or pre-sales, with the ability to independently lead technical discussions and explain complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 concepts, architecture, integrations, customizations, and implementation approaches to clients in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Consultant in a Microsoft Partner organization is strongly preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM or ERP) — Required.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate or Customer Service Associate — Required.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate or Business Central Functional Consultant — Preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect — Highly Preferred.
