Personal Account Rater, German or Korean

About OpenTrain

OpenTrain is the #1 platform for people building careers in AI training and data labeling. We help contributors discover projects, consolidate opportunities, and build a lasting AI training portfolio they control.

At OpenTrain AI we hire and contract contributors directly for evaluation and annotation work — enabling flexible, remote roles that scale from part-time to full engagement.

About AI training work

AI training (data labeling, annotation, and human-feedback work) is the human side of building modern AI. Contributors prepare and judge examples that teach models how to respond, reason, and personalize for real users.

This type of work is often remote and flexible, accessible to people without specialized degrees, and lets you directly influence how cutting-edge systems behave.

The role

You will be a Personal Account Rater on a personalization evaluation project. Using your own Gmail account and email-history context, you will judge whether AI-generated responses are relevant, accurate, helpful, and properly personalized.

This is a remote contractor, part-time engagement with an expected duration of 3 to 4 months. OpenTrain AI hires and manages the contract for this project.

What you'll do

Work through prompts and AI responses presented in English and use your personal Gmail history to judge personalization and contextual accuracy. Provide clear, structured feedback following project guidelines.

  • Evaluate AI-generated responses using your personal Gmail history and activity.
  • Judge relevance, helpfulness, accuracy, and quality of personalization.
  • Compare alternative responses and select which gives the better user experience.
  • Flag unsupported assumptions, incorrect personalization, and irrelevant recommendations.
  • Provide objective, written evaluation feedback that follows project instructions and preserves privacy.

Requirements

All requirements below are mandatory for consideration. The project expects careful, detail-oriented reviewers who can protect user privacy while using personal account context for evaluation.

  • Native-level fluency in German or Korean.
  • Comfortable reading and evaluating prompts and responses in English.
  • Active personal Gmail account used as a primary email with a well-established inbox and regular activity.
  • Strong analytical skills, close attention to detail, and clear written communication.
  • Ability to work independently from a desktop or laptop with reliable internet.
  • Willingness and ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality while reviewing email-context tasks.

Project details & schedule

This contract role typically requires 20+ hours per week, with a minimum daily commitment and flexibility up to 40 hours per week. The engagement length is 3–4 months.

You must provide at least 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST) during your scheduled hours. The work is remote and performed from your own device.

Who should apply and helpful background

This role suits native German or Korean speakers who can comfortably evaluate English-language content and are comfortable using their Gmail account for context-based evaluation.
