Part-Time Typing Job for Students (Work From Home)

Guild has announced vacancies for part-time typing jobs. This role is open to students wanting to work while studying. The work involves typing of documents, checking of completed files, updating of records, and preparation of digital documents as per the given instructions.

Typing work can be from handwritten notes, printed pages, digital files, or other company documents. Each file must be checked for typing mistakes, spelling errors, and formatting problems before submission.

Candidates should have good typing speed and basic knowledge of computers and should be able to work within the stipulated time.

Main Responsibilities

Daily work may comprise:

  • Type documents supplied by the company.
  • Convert printed information to digital text.
  • Create editable documents from source material.
  • Review completed work prior to submission
  • Correct spelling, grammar, punctuation and formatting errors.
  • Put finished files in the correct folders.
  • When changes are received, update the existing documents.
  • Follow document formatting instructions.
  • Organize and complete typing work as assigned in a timely manner.
  • Maintain secrecy while dealing with company documents.
  • Take any online training that is available.
  • If you need clarification coordinate with supervisors.

The type and amount of work may vary depending on the requirements of the project.

Eligibility

Applicants must have:

  • 50 words per minute or higher typing speed.
  • Good understanding of English grammar, punctuation and spelling.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & office software.
  • Basic knowledge of computers.
  • Stable internet connection.
  • Laptop or personal computer.

Must be a high school or college student.

No previous experience necessary.

Experience in typing, data entry or office administration would be useful but not essential.

Working Hours

This is a part time position.
