Part-Time Operations Assistant – E-Commerce & Quick-Commerce (FMCG)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time FMCG Operations Assistant to manage our daily remote e-commerce and quick-commerce operations across key UAE marketplaces.

In this role, you will remotely handle stock synchronization, order processing, listing maintenance, and virtual merchant coordination across Amazon, Noon, Talabat, Careem, and InstaShop . This position is fully remote, making it ideal for an operational specialist who can manage high-volume delivery platforms independently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketplace & Quick-Commerce Platform Management
  • Remote management of live product catalogs, pricing updates, and promotional setups on Amazon Seller Central, Noon Partner Market, Talabat, Careem, and InstaShop.
  • Monitor live store status, operating hours, and online availability to prevent store downtime or out-of-stock (OOS) cancellations.
  • Track incoming orders remotely and ensure compliance with platform-specific delivery SLAs.
2. Virtual Inventory & Logistics Tracking
  • Reconcile real-time inventory balances between central systems and dark store/marketplace back-ends using cloud tools and shared databases.
  • Coordinate stock replenishment alerts, transfer documentation, and dispatch tracking remotely with warehouse teams and dispatch partners.
  • Monitor short-expiry batches digitally to enforce FEFO/FIFO stock management rules.
3. Account Health & Vendor Support
  • Maintain optimal account health metrics, seller ratings, and operational KPIs across all platform dashboards.
  • Resolve catalog suppression, barcode errors, and inventory discrepancies remotely via merchant support channels or account managers.
  • Compile daily/weekly operational reports on sales volume, fulfillment metrics, and platform commissions using Excel/Google Sheets.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Location: Based in the UAE.
  • Work Setup: Fully remote with a dedicated home office setup, reliable high-speed internet, and a personal computer.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing FMCG or grocery operations on Amazon, Noon, Talabat, Careem, and InstaShop portal back-ends.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, data reconciliation).
  • Self-Management: High level of self-discipline, strong attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot operational issues remotely in real time.
