SkillDzire is looking for an experienced Medical Coding Trainer to deliver engaging online training sessions for students and aspiring healthcare professionals. The trainer will be responsible for teaching industry-relevant medical coding concepts, preparing learners for certifications and careers, and providing practical knowledge through real-world case studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver live online training sessions on Medical Coding.
  • Teach ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Explain coding guidelines, documentation standards, and healthcare compliance.
  • Develop and update course materials, assignments, and assessments.
  • Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and mentor students throughout the program.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Share industry best practices and certification preparation strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest coding standards and healthcare regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Medical Coding or Medical Coding Training.
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and online teaching skills.
  • CPC, CCS, CCA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
