Ops Manager - Quick Commerce Last Mile, Amazon NOW

DESCRIPTION

The manager is tasked with overseeing operations for dark stores within a specific urban cluster, requiring meticulous coordination across multiple facilities strategically distributed throughout the city. This multifaceted role demands expertise in inventory management, staff supervision, operational workflow optimization, and quality control to ensure seamless functioning of these non-customer-facing hubs. The manager must maintain consistent operational standards across all locations while adapting to the challenges of each facility, implement efficient picking and packing processes, monitor technological systems that support operations, coordinate with delivery teams for smooth order hand-offs, and respond swiftly to operational disruptions. Additionally, they are responsible for resource allocation, performance metric tracking, compliance with safety regulations, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements that can be scaled across the entire cluster, ultimately contributing to the organization's commitment to rapid, accurate order fulfillment in the competitive quick-commerce landscape.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
