Media Research, Automation & Campaign Support - Internship (WFH)


About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Research & Industry Monitoring

1. Monitor business news, press releases, and social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook to track OTT and media industry developments.
2. Interpret and summarize relevant news accurately using strong reading comprehension.
3. Identify and log transaction details, including project commissions, content acquisitions, licensing deals, studios, rights sellers, and key dealmakers.

B. Data Management & Research

1. Map companies, executives, and production houses to the internal database and flag duplicates or missing information.
2. Ensure data is complete, accurate, and consistent across multiple sources.
3. Conduct data clean-up, deduplication, and database maintenance.
4. Sync internal databases with CRM and campaign tools.

C. Lead Generation & Outreach

1. Source and identify relevant contacts for outreach lists.
2. Enroll qualified contacts into email sequences and campaigns.
3. Maintain accurate contact and campaign data.

D. Automation & Scripting

1. Write and maintain Google Apps Scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
2. Automate workflows such as sheet updates, alerts, and data synchronization between tools.
3. Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through scripting and automation.
4. Troubleshoot and improve existing automation scripts as workflows evolve.

Other Requirements:

  1. 1. Basic understanding of the media and OTT industry.

  3. 3. Strong research and information-gathering skills.
  4. 4. High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy.
  5. 5. Working knowledge of Google Apps Script or a strong ability and willingness to learn quickly.
