Manager – Sourcing, Procurement & Vendor Development | Printed Food Packaging

Role Objective

Develop new finished packaging products and suppliers at the right specification, quality, price and lead time.

This role focuses on finished packaging sourcing and new product development — not raw-material purchasing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand new packaging requirements and develop correct specifications.
  • Source manufacturers in India, China and other markets.
  • Handle RFQs and obtain multiple comparable quotations.
  • Compare specifications, pricing, MOQ, quality and lead times.
  • Negotiate prices and commercial terms.
  • Develop alternate suppliers for existing products.
  • Coordinate samples and new product trials.
  • Understand packaging manufacturing processes and costing.
  • Recommend the best supplier/product option to management.
  • Maintain supplier and historical price database.
  • Hand over approved products/orders to the Order Coordinator for execution.

Products

Paper bags, paper cups & containers, food boxes, folding cartons, PET packaging, flexible packaging, greaseproof paper, napkins, IML products and other food-service packaging.

Preferred Candidate

  • 5–10+ years relevant experience.
  • Strong packaging/printing manufacturing knowledge.
  • Experience in NPD, vendor development, PPC/PMC, packaging procurement, costing or production.
  • Experience sourcing/developing finished products preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Good Excel/computer skills.
  • Professional vendor communication.
  • High integrity and zero tolerance for commissions/kickbacks.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
