Below are the details:<br><br><strong>Purpose Of Role<br><br></strong>To support the application security team by executing vulnerability scans, assisting in penetration tests, and ensuring secure development practices are tracked and followed.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Execute SAST/DAST scans using tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, or Qualys under senior guidance</li><li>Assist in application penetration testing by preparing test cases and running automated checks.</li><li>Document and track vulnerabilities, ensuring timely follow-up with developers until closure.</li><li>Maintain and update secure coding checklists and guidelines for development teams.</li><li>Prepare draft reports on security testing results for senior review.</li><li>Participate in knowledge sessions to learn secure SDLC processes and OWASP standards.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills & Knowledge<br><br></strong><ul><li>Basic programming skills (Java, PHP, or Python).</li><li>Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and basic countermeasures</li><li>Familiarity with security testing tools (Burp Suite, Kali Linux, OWASP ZAP, Postman).</li><li>Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications/Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science.</li><li>2-5 years of application security exposure.</li><li>Security+ or CEH (entry-level) preferred.</li></ul>
