IT Support Coordinator (Telemedicine)

Location: Dadri Block, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh (Preference will be given to candidates residing in Dadri, Greater Noida, Noida, or nearby areas)

About the Project The Indian Social Responsibility Network (ISRN), is implementing a Telemedicine Strengthening Project in Dadri Block, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The project aims to strengthen Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs) through improved telemedicine infrastructure, digital health systems, capacity building, and specialist consultations using the Government of India's eSanjeevani platform. The IT Support Coordinator will ensure the smooth functioning of all digital and telemedicine systems across project sites.

Job Purpose The IT Support Coordinator will be responsible for providing end-to-end technical support for telemedicine services across the project. The incumbent will ensure uninterrupted operation of telemedicine equipment, internet connectivity, digital platforms, dashboard management, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, digital reporting, and user support. The position will also coordinate with Jhpiego's technical team for dashboard quality review, telemedicine data systems, and clinical workflow integration.

Key Responsibilities

Telemedicine Technical Support

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for telemedicine services at all project-supported Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs).
  • Ensure smooth functioning of the eSanjeevani telemedicine platform during consultations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and user-related issues.
  • Coordinate with government technical teams, internet service providers, and vendors for issue resolution.
  • Ensure minimum downtime of telemedicine services.
Digital Infrastructure Management
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, webcams, printers, scanners, biometric devices, routers, Wi-Fi equipment, UPS, and other IT assets.
  • Ensure reliable internet connectivity and network performance at project sites.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain inventory and asset registers of all IT equipment.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of digital equipment.
Dashboard & Data Management
  • Manage project dashboards and digital monitoring systems.
  • Maintain telemedicine usage data and system analytics.
  • Generate periodic dashboards and data summaries for project management.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely updating of digital records.
  • Support development and maintenance of project MIS and reporting tools.
Digital Reporting
  • Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly digital reports.
  • Analyse telemedicine utilization trends and prepare performance reports.
  • Support monitoring of key project indicators.
  • Ensure data quality and compliance with reporting protocols.
Technical Coordination
  • Work closely with Jhpiego's technical team on dashboard quality review and telemedicine data systems.
  • Support integration of clinical workflows with digital platforms.
  • Coordinate technical support during training programmes, virtual consultations, and review meetings.
  • Assist in implementing new digital tools and system upgrades.
User Support & Capacity Building
  • Orient Medical Officers, CHOs, ANMs, and project staff on telemedicine equipment and digital platforms.
  • Provide hands-on support during teleconsultations.
  • Develop simple user guides and troubleshooting manuals.
  • Build digital confidence among healthcare providers.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain logs of technical issues, service requests, and resolutions.
  • Document preventive maintenance schedules and equipment servicing.
  • Ensure proper backup of digital records and compliance with data security protocols.
  • Support donor visits, government reviews, and project audits.
Any Other Responsibility
  • Undertake any other technical or project-related responsibilities assigned by the Project Manager or ISRN management.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications (BCA), Electronics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Diploma holders with significant relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in IT support, system administration, network management, or digital health projects.
  • Experience supporting healthcare facilities, telemedicine, eHealth, HMIS, or digital health initiatives will be preferred.
  • Experience with hardware maintenance, networking, and troubleshooting is essential.
  • Prior experience working with NGOs, Government programmes, or public health projects will be an added advantage.
Essential Skills
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting software, internet, and telecommunication issues.
  • Knowledge of telemedicine platforms (preferably eSanjeevani) and digital health systems.
  • Experience with MIS, dashboards, and digital reporting tools.
  • Good understanding of data management and information security practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently in field locations and respond quickly to technical issues.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Hindi and working knowledge of English.
Desirable
  • Familiarity with Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), eSanjeevani, HMIS, or other Government digital health platforms.
  • Knowledge of basic networking, cloud-based reporting systems, and dashboard visualization tools (Power BI, Google Data Studio, or similar) will be an advantage.
  • Valid two-wheeler driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within Dadri Block.
