IP DRG Auditor - Medical Coder - DRG auditing - 3+ Years - Pan India

We are looking for an IP DRG Auditor to review inpatient medical records, validate coding accuracy, and ensure compliance with coding standards and clinical documentation guidelines. Responsibilities

  1. Perform detailed audits of inpatient medical records to validate ICD-10-CM,ICD-10-PCS coding, and DRG assignment.
  2. Ensure diagnoses, procedures, POA indicators, and discharge disposition are accurately documented and coded.
  3. Review clinical documentation to verify that assigned codes are fully supported.
  4. Provide feedback, mentoring, and education to coding teams for quality improvement.
  5. Achieve productivity and quality targets while adhering to SOPs, HIPAA guidelines, and organizational compliance standards.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred) or Bachelor's in Science.
  2. Mandatory certification: CCS, CIC, or CPC.
  3. Minimum 2 years of experience in IP DRG Coding or Auditing.
  4. Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRG, and IPPS methodology.
  5. Experience with 3M Encoder, Microsoft Excel, and auditing tools along with excellent communication skills.
