Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Student Intern – Aerospace role based in Ashta. The intern will support the design, prototyping, and testing of unmanned vehicles and aerospace components under the guidance of senior engineers.

Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with CAD modeling, helping prepare 3D-printed or composite parts, collecting and documenting test data, and contributing to basic performance analyses. The intern will collaborate with the engineering team on project documentation, component integration, and quality checks to ensure products meet technical and safety requirements. The role also involves learning and following standard laboratory practices, maintaining a safe workspace, and participating in technical discussions and reviews.

Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, with ongoing enrollment in a relevant degree or diploma program.
  • Interest or exposure to unmanned systems (aerial, ground, or underwater), propulsion, structures, or flight mechanics.
  • Ability to follow engineering procedures, perform careful documentation. Good Analytical Skills in Aerospace domain.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Prior academic projects, personal builds, or internships related to aerospace or robotics are an advantage.
