About the job:

The instructional designer/subject-matter expert (Experienced in the US curriculum) is a contractual remote role based in Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design: Develop curriculum-aligned instructional materials for K-12 and higher education with a strong focus on US standards across STEM subjects such as ELA, science, and SST.
2. Create: Use AI tools to develop lesson plans and assessments aligned with curriculum requirements and learning objectives.
3. Review: Manually evaluate AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, clarity, curriculum alignment, and pedagogical effectiveness.
4. Ensure: Maintain high-quality instructional content that meets the academic and educational requirements of US standards.

  3. 3. Familiarity with US educational frameworks, standards (e.g., Common Core, NGSS, NCSS), and assessment practices.
  4. 4. Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini.
  5. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  6. 6. Master’s degree in education, ELA or any STEM subject; prior experience as an instructional designer or SME for US curriculum is highly preferred.
