INSIDE SALES OFFICER / ASSISTANT MANAGER - GEM, TENDERING, IREPS (New Delhi)

Job Description Position: Assistant Manager – GEM, IREPS, Tendering & Projects Today Location: Pune (Head Office) Reporting To: Product Marketing Manager Company: SAN Telequip Pvt. Ltd. Role Objective The Assistant Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of government and PSU tenders and for project intelligence–led market development. Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, the role focuses on aligning product positioning, tender strategy, and early-stage project visibility while enabling PAN-India sales teams to engage proactively with project promoters, EPC contractors, consultants, and system integrators, thereby improving bid quality and conversion rates. Key Responsibilities 1. Tender & Market Intelligence Management • Identify and track relevant opportunities on GeM, IREPS, CPPP, State e-Procurement portals, PSU portals, and large institutional buyers. • Monitor Projects Today for new, upcoming, and active projects across Railways, Metro, Power, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Utilities, Data Centers, and Industrial segments. • Analyze tender scope, eligibility, technical specifications, and commercial conditions from a product-market fit perspective. 2. Projects Today – PAN-India Sales Coordination • Convert Projects Today intelligence into region-wise and segment-wise opportunity briefs. • Share actionable project details (project stage, stakeholders, consultants, EPCs, promoters) with the PAN-India sales team. • Enable sales teams to plan meetings and site visits with: o Project promoters o EPC contractors o Consultants / PMCs System integrators and influencers • Capture field feedback from sales and feed insights back to Product Marketing for product positioning and bid strategy refinement. 3. Bid Preparation & Tender Execution • Coordinate with Product Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Finance, SCM, and Legal teams for bid preparation. • Prepare and upload: Technical compliance and product deviation statements Commercial bids, BOQs, and price schedules Mandatory annexures, declarations, and certificates • Ensure correct alignment of product configurations, certifications, and value propositions with tender requirements. • Manage online bid submissions, corrigenda, clarifications, and extensions. 4. GeM & IREPS Operations • Manage GeM seller account, including: o Product catalogue creation and updates Pricing alignment with product marketing strategy o Compliance documentation and RA participation • Handle IREPS registrations, item codes, vendor approvals, and railway tender participation. 5. Product Compliance & Documentation • Maintain updated repository of: o Product datasheets, test reports, certifications OEM authorizations and compliance matrices of Past performance and execution references • Ensure tender submissions are technically accurate and product-compliant. 6. Post-Bid & Market Feedback Support • Support Product Marketing Manager during: Pre-bid meetings and technical clarifications o Post-bid negotiations and technical discussions • Assist in LOA/PO follow-ups and handover to execution teams. • Track competitor products, pricing benchmarks, and feature positioning observed during tendering. 7. MIS & Reporting • Prepare weekly and monthly MIS covering: Tender pipeline and status o Projects Today–derived opportunities o Sales coordination and engagement status o Win/loss analysis and competitive insights • Provide structured inputs for product roadmap and go-to-market strategy. Key Skills & Competencies • Strong hands-on experience with GeM, IREPS, CPPP, and PSU tender portals • Ability to translate project intelligence into product-led sales actions • Strong coordination skills with PAN-India sales teams • High compliance orientation with robust documentation skills • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PDF tools, and e-procurement systems Educational Qualification • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Management / Commerce • Exposure to Product Marketing, Government Tendering, or Project Tracking tools preferred Experience • 5–10 years of /experience in Government/PSU tendering, project tracking, or product-centric bid management • Mandatory experience with GeM and IREPS • Preferred to have Background in industrial, railway, automation, networking, electronics, or telecom products preferred Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Quality and timeliness of tender submissions • Effectiveness of Projects Today → sales engagement → tender participation conversion • Product compliance accuracy in bids • Support to win ratio and reduction in bid deviations • Quality of MIS and competitive intelligence
