HR Intern

SummitNext is looking for a proactive and responsible HR Intern to join our Human Resources team and provide administrative and operational support. This is a remote internship where you will work closely with the HR team on daily HR activities, including employee documentation, recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and leave administration. It is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR operations within a BPO environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Administration

  • Assist with maintaining and updating digital employee records.
  • Prepare and organise HR documents and letters.
  • Ensure HR records are complete and properly maintained.

2. Attendance & Leave Administration

  • Assist in checking employee attendance records.
  • Support leave administration and documentation.
  • Follow up with employees on missing or incomplete supporting documents.
  • Assist with attendance-related reports.

3. Recruitment Support

  • Coordinate interview schedules.
  • Assist with recruitment documentation and candidate follow-ups.
  • Support pre-employment and onboarding documentation.

4. Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Assist with preparing onboarding documents.
  • Support new employee documentation and HRIS updates.
  • Assist with exit and clearance documentation.

5. Employee Support

  • Assist the HR team in responding to general employee queries.
  • Follow up on outstanding HR requests.
  • Escalate employee matters to the appropriate HR team member when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

6. General HR Support

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team.
  • Assist with HR projects, virtual engagement activities, and internal communications.
  • Support audits and documentation exercises.
  • Perform other HR-related duties assigned by the HR Manager.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems is an advantage.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Own laptop and stable internet connection.
