Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Fresher / QA Trainee to join our technology team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are passionate about software quality, testing, and learning modern QA practices. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and senior QA professionals to identify defects, validate software functionality, and help deliver reliable and high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business and technical requirements and convert them into test scenarios.
  • Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists.
  • Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Integration Testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps.
  • Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing.
  • Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Participate in test planning and daily QA activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation of test results and defects.
  • Validate application functionality across different browsers, devices, and environments.
  • Learn and contribute to API, database, and automation testing as required.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and product quality.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Software Testing / QA concepts.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
  • Understanding of different testing types and testing methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL / Database Testing.
  • Familiarity with API Testing is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of Jira or any defect-tracking tool.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or any automation testing tool is good to have.
  • Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of Postman.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Academic project or internship experience in Software Testing / QA.
