As a freelance accountant with Progressive Technology, you will provide expert financial guidance, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes that drive business growth. Key Responsibilities • Manage and oversee client accounting records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts according to client requirements. • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements. • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. • Advise clients on financial planning, risk management, and cost optimization strategies. • Assist with auditing processes, both internal and external, as needed. • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to support financial projects and initiatives. • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial data and client information. Required Skills and Qualifications • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is mandatory. • Proven expertise in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle). • Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills. • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a remote environment. • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with a proactive approach. Experience • Minimum 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a freelance, consultancy, or corporate environment. • Experience in financial reporting, tax preparation, audits, and advisory services is highly preferred.
