We are now looking for ambitious freshers from Kolkata who want to build a career in sales, business development and revenue generation.

Role Mission

Your primary responsibility is simple:

Bring qualified Gyms into MAVR and help convert them into active and paying customers.

You will move prospects through:

Prospecting → Conversation → Meeting → Employer Onboarding → Opportunity → Commercial Conversion → Revenue

This is a high-performance sales role.

You will directly contribute to MAVR's customer acquisition and revenue pipeline.

Previous sales experience is not mandatory.

We care more about:

Communication + confidence + hunger + consistency + ability to learn.

5. CRM & Pipeline Ownership

Every lead must have:

  • Lead owner
  • Current stage
  • Contact information
  • Last interaction
  • Next action
  • Next-action date
  • Source
  • Commercial potential
  • Final outcome

Following up is one of the most important parts of this role.

No valuable sales opportunity should be lost because someone forgot to contact the customer again.

Starting Performance Benchmarks

Initial weekly operating benchmarks may include:

  • 75 targeted business outreaches
  • 20 meaningful conversations
  • 8 qualified meetings
  • 3 employer onboardings
  • Consistent movement toward paid conversions

These are starting benchmarks and may be adjusted based on actual market performance.

Most Important KPI: Revenue

Activity is important, but activity alone is not success.

The main outcomes we care about are:

Qualified meetings → Customer activation → Paying customers → Revenue generated

We want people who want to become strong revenue generators.

Performance-Based & Uncapped Earnings

This role is designed for people who want their earnings to increase with their performance.

During the initial performance stage, compensation is linked to verified commercial outcomes.

  • employer is genuine,

  • the job goes live.

Revenue Commission

You can earn commission on actual revenue collected by MAVR from customers you originate or commercially convert.

Commission is uncapped.

The more genuine revenue you help generate, the more you can earn.

No commission is paid on:

  • verbal commitments,
  • fake customers,
  • unpaid invoices,

This role is designed to reward people who prove that they can generate business.

  • B2B sales
  • Revenue generation
  • Cold calling and prospecting
  • Business development
  • Negotiation
  • Partnership development
  • Gym and fitness-industry sales
  • CRM management
  • Customer qualification
  • Startup GTM
  • Commercial strategy
  • Closing and follow-up

You will work closely with MAVR's commercial leadership and learn how an early-stage startup acquires its first customers and builds a repeatable revenue engine.

Location Requirement

This opportunity is currently only for candidates based in Kolkata, West Bengal.

Candidates should be comfortable:

  • communicating with Kolkata-based businesses,
  • understanding the local Gym and fitness market,
  • and travelling locally for meetings when required.

Ideal Candidate

You do not need years of experience.

You need:

Confidence.

Communication.

Hunger to learn.

Discipline to follow up.

Comfort with targets.

And a strong desire to become good at sales.

If you are a fresher who wants a desk job with no targets, this may not be the right opportunity.

If you want to learn how to sell, build business relationships and directly generate revenue, we want to hear from you.

At MAVR, activity is not the goal. Revenue and real commercial outcomes are.
