We are proud to be an equal opportunity and disability-confident, committed employer.</p><p><br></p><p>Group Management Accountant</p><p><br></p><p>The Group Management Accountant (GMA) will report into Jenny Rose – Group Financial Manager (GFM) and work closely with the Ashish Lazar - Finance Manager (FM) for the India finance operations.</p><p><br></p><p>The Group Management Accountant will be involved with the month end close process for several group entities, reconciliations and other monthly tasks. This role will</p><p>also include ad hoc project work as required by other members of the finance team as the business streamlines its processes ready for the next stage of growth.</p><p><br></p><p>Duties and Responsibilities of a Group Management Accountant include:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Preparing month end close journals including payroll, depreciation, prepayments and accruals</li><li>Preparing monthly management accounts including Profit & Loss variance analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet control accounts</li><li>Preparing monthly intercompany cost recharge invoices</li><li>Preparing monthly inter-company reconciliations schedules</li><li>Preparing quarterly VAT/GST returns and reconciliations</li><li>Ensuring the financial information in the ledger is up to date and accurate</li><li>Supporting accounts payable and wider finance function with any ad hoc tasks including finance operations in India</li><li>Streamlining and automating processes to create capacity for the team</li></ul><p><br></p><p>What do you need to succeed?</p><p><br></p><ul><li>CA (Inter) / CMA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent accountancy qualification preferred</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset</li><li>Systems and IT focused with advanced Microsoft Excel skills</li><li>Working knowledge of SAP Business One or an equivalent accounting/ERP product (e.g. Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics)</li><li>Good communicator and strong team player</li><li>3-5 years’ experience in management accounting and preparation of monthly close to Trial Balance stage would be desirable</li><li>Strong English language skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Organizational Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent time management skills.</li><li>Effectively prioritizes and meets deadlines.</li><li>Quickly and accurately meets team and company requirements.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Ethics</strong></p><ul><li>Proactively seeks new areas of opportunity.</li><li>Is adaptable, flexible and displays a willing approach.</li><li>Takes a pride in consistently achieving the highest standard regardless of task.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Attributes</strong></p><ul><li>Bright, articulate (both oral and written) and well presented.</li><li>Outstanding organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.</li><li>Ability to archive and assimilate information quickly.</li><li>Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.</li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li><li>Well organized with a calm, unflappable temperament.</li><li>High energy and work ethic, team player</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em><u>*In terms of work hours, the team is based in United Kingdom and your work hours will reflect this time zone (12:30-21:30 Hrs.
