Graphic Designer — Video Content & Mockups - Fresher (WFH)

About the job:

You own everything that happens before a video gets recorded: the research, the templates, the slides, the designs, the screen captures. You sit at the front of the content process, not the back.

Key responsibilities:

1. Ideation: You're in the room. You bring topic ideas from what sellers are actually struggling with.
2. Research: For a video like 'How to batch your candle label mockups for Etsy', you'd go find and buy the candle mockup templates sellers actually use, open them up, figure out where the wrap-around label breaks across two smart objects, and work out the cleanest way to solve it. You come back knowing the topic better than anyone else on the team.
3. Asset creation: Everything the video needs before the camera turns on:
mockup templates built or restructured in Photoshop, smart objects set up correctly, explainer slides that teach a concept visually not bullet points on a slide, actual visual explanation, esign files, sample artwork, before/after comparisons, diagrams, screen recordings of Bulk Mockup, Photoshop and Etsy workflows
4. Handoff: You pass a clean, organised package into recording, and then to the editor. Rough-cutting your own screen recordings so the editor isn't hunting through 40 minutes of footage is part of the job.

Growth:

This is the first dedicated hire on the content team. As output scales, this role grows into owning more of the content pipeline. If you want to be on camera and present, that opportunity is open to you as you grow.

Hiring process:

1. Apply with the task below this is the first filter, so do it properly
2. Video call 15 minutes
3. One-week paid trial real work, real feedback, 5,000 for the week
4. Offer

Application task:

Explain what a Smart Object is and why it matters for product mockups in exactly 3 slides. Maximum 15 words of text per slide. Your audience is an Etsy seller who uses Photoshop but has never heard the term. At least one slide must include a screenshot you took yourself inside Photoshop.

Who can apply:

Only those candidates can apply who:

Salary:

₹ 2,40,000 - 4,20,000 /year

Experience:

Other Requirements:

  1. A. Required:
  2. 1. Strong Photoshop skills. Smart objects, layer comps, clipping masks, colour handling. You can pull apart someone else’s PSD template and rebuild it properly.
  3. Real understanding of the Etsy / print-on-demand world. Mockups, listing images, POD products. If you’ve sold on Etsy or made assets for sellers, say so loudly.
  4. Genuine visual storytelling. Given a confusing technical concept, you can make someone understand it in three frames. This is the most important skill in this role and the one we test hardest.
  5. 2. Research instinct: You’d rather go find the answer than wait for a brief.
  6. 3. Good written English. You’ll be researching English-language seller communities and labelling assets for an English-speaking audience.
