## About the Company KVTEK is a fast-growing technology & manufacturing enterprise in the field of Electrical test and Measuring Equipment with special focus on High Voltage test equipment with a strong domestic presence and growing international footprint. Following a strategic investment from a leading German corporation, KVTEK is scaling its operations to meet accelerated production targets and global quality standards. The GM Operations will be at the heart of this transformation and if he performs well then he can be groomed into the position of COO in next 2-3 years’ time. ## About the Role The GM Operations is a senior executive role reporting directly to the President Operations. He will be responsible for the end-to-end operational performance of KVTEK — spanning production, workforce management, and quality systems. ## Key Responsibilities - Oversee end-to-end production planning — from demand forecasting to shop-floor scheduling — to ensure on-time delivery and resource optimisation. - Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (CI) frameworks to drive efficiency and reduce waste. - Establish production KPIs and lead regular performance reviews against targets. - Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary operations team across production, procurement, logistics, and quality functions. - Partner with HR to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession management. - Foster a performance-driven and inclusive culture aligned with KVTEK values and German stakeholder expectations. - Manage industrial relations and ensure compliance with all labour regulations. - Champion quality management systems, following relevant IEC standard guidelines — and ensure audit readiness at all times. - Oversee Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programmes and ensure regulatory compliance. ## Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Operations Management and / or Business Administration. - MBA or postgraduate qualification in Operations. - Professional certifications such as Project Management or Six Sigma Black Belt are a strong advantage. - Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in operations management within a manufacturing industry of electrical or electronic capital goods. - At least 5 years in a senior leadership role. - Proven track record of leading large, multi-functional teams (200+ employees). - Experience implementing ERP/MES systems and data-driven operational tools. - Experience scaling a mid-size manufacturing or engineering company is ideal. ## Preferred Qualifications - Strong execution focus — a COO is the "get it done" person - Crisis and risk management ability (project delays, supply disruptions etc.) - Good stakeholder management —internal teams ## Location & Work Mode The role is based at the KVTEK Head Office and Manufacturing Site, requiring onsite presence.
