Full Stack Developer (React + Ruby on Rails)

<p><strong><u>About the Role</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with <strong>6+ years</strong> of experience, with a strong focus on<strong> frontend development</strong>. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience building scalable, responsive, and user-focused web applications using <strong>React and TypeScript</strong>. They should also have basic to moderate experience with <strong>Ruby on Rails</strong> and be comfortable contributing to backend development when required.</p><p>The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, write clean and maintainable code, and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.</p><p><strong><u>Roles & Responsibilities</u></strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements through delivery</li><li>Develop and maintain scalable, responsive, user-friendly web applications with a strong focus on frontend development using React and TypeScript</li><li>Build reusable, well-tested UI components and help maintain frontend architecture</li><li>Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and contribute to backend development in Ruby on Rails when required</li><li>Identify and resolve UI issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks, and write unit, integration, and regression tests</li><li>Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers through code review, pair programming, and architecture discussions</li><li>Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies, communicating effectively with a distributed team using Slack, Zoom, and JIRA</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Skills Required</u></strong></p><ul><li>6+ years of experience with <strong>React</strong>, <strong>TypeScript</strong>, and modern frontend development practices , along with PostgresSQL, RSpec, Sidekiq, Git, Cloud experience (preferably AWS)</li><li>Good experience with <strong>Ruby on Rails</strong>, idiomatic <strong>Ruby</strong>, and RESTful APIs</li><li>Strong understanding of <strong>JavaScript</strong>, <strong>HTML</strong>, <strong>CSS</strong>, and responsive, reusable component development</li><li>Experience with frontend state management, API integration, and asynchronous programming</li><li>Experience writing tests with <strong>Jest</strong> and React Testing Library</li><li>Proficiency with <strong>Git</strong> and <strong>CI/CD tools </strong>such as <strong>GitHub Actions</strong> and <strong>Docker</strong></li><li>Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, build tools (Yarn, Webpack), and scalable application design</li><li>Experience in designing scalable <strong>front-end architecture</strong>, including component structure, state management, and application-level performance.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Nice to Have</u></strong></p><ul><li>Experience with PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, or other Rails backend tooling</li><li>Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments</li><li>Exposure to Python, Go, or other backend/scripting languages</li><li>Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code principles</li><li>BSc/BE/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Familiarity with concepts of MVC, mocking, REST</li></ul><p><br></p>
