Are you a talented copyeditor looking for flexible work you can execute from the comfort of your own home? Apex CoVantage is currently seeking freelance copyeditors to join our editorial department to perform copyediting on academic book manuscripts.

The ideal candidate is proficient in APA and CMS styles, and also able to adhere to various author-style preferences per project. Familiarity with editing in Microsoft Word and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines is also required.

STEM and foreign-language copyediting experience is a plus!

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience as a copyeditor
  • Excellent grammar skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CMS and APA style guides
  • Experience with MS Word
