<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>·        Analyze key balance sheet and P&L accounts; prepare and post associated US GAAP and local GAAP journals.</p><p>·        Responsibility for month-end processes, including journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.</p><p>·        Responsibility for preparation of monthly legal entity performance analysis.</p><p>·        Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards.</p><p>·        Preparation of management accounts by legal entity on an ad-hoc basis</p><p>·        Preparation of financial statements for legal entities per FRS 101 & 102 and IFRS.</p><p>·        Liaise with external auditors for timely completion of statutory audits.</p><p>·        Ensure timely submission of financial and non-financial information to local authorities where appropriate</p><p>·        Preparation of VAT and Corporate Tax returns</p><p>·        Preparation of ad-hoc management reports and analysis</p><p> </p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p><p>Key qualifications for the job:</p><p>·        5 years’ experience in an audit, finance or accounting role, preferably in Public Accounting, including a thorough understanding of IFRS and accounting standards generally accepted in the United States (US GAAP)</p><p>·        ACA / CA or equivalent certification</p><p>·        Audit practice background</p><p>·        Good understanding of general tax accounting and local tax regimes</p><p>·        Experience of financial statement preparation under UK GAAP and IFRS</p><p>·        Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent</p><p>·        Hybrid - 2 days a week in office</p><p> </p><p>Key soft skills required:</p><ul> <li>Strong problem-solving ability</li> <li>Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills</li> <li>Well organized and able to prioritize conflicting deadlines</li> <li>Attention to detail</li> <li>Strong desire to exceed expectations</li> <li>Results orientated</li> <li>Team player with good working relationships, strong team management and leadership qualities</li></ul>
