Role Summary A plywood manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Female HR & Admin Executive to manage comprehensive HR operations and employee coordination activities.

The role will involve handling employee coordination, grievance management, payroll coordination, employee records, attendance-related activities and overall HR operations, along with other administrative responsibilities.

The candidate will work closely with employees, departmental heads and management to ensure smooth implementation of HR policies, employee-related processes and day-to-day HR administration.

The position is fully office-based at Atghara, Rajarhat, Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee-related activities.

  • Maintain complete and accurate employee records and documentation.

  • Coordinate employee joining, onboarding, transfers, exits and other employee lifecycle activities.

  • Maintain employee databases and HR documentation.

  • Coordinate with various departments regarding employee-related matters.

  • Ensure timely completion of routine HR processes.

Employee Coordination & Engagement
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters.

  • Coordinate with employees and departmental heads for smooth resolution of routine issues.

  • Handle employee queries and provide appropriate HR support.

  • Maintain professional and positive employee relations.

  • Support employee engagement and internal communication activities.

Grievance Handling
  • Receive and understand employee grievances and concerns.

  • Coordinate with relevant departments/management for appropriate resolution.

  • Maintain records of employee grievances and actions taken.

  • Ensure timely follow-up on pending employee issues.

  • Maintain confidentiality while dealing with sensitive employee matters.

Payroll & Attendance Coordination
  • Coordinate with the accounts/payroll team for monthly payroll processing.

  • Collect and verify attendance, leave and other payroll-related information.

  • Coordinate regarding salary-related queries and discrepancies.

  • Maintain accurate attendance and leave records.

  • Provide required employee information to the payroll/accounts team within stipulated timelines.

Employee Records & Compliance Support
  • Maintain employee personal files, joining documents and other HR records.

  • Ensure HR documentation is updated and properly maintained.

  • Assist in maintaining attendance, leave and other employee-related registers.

  • Support statutory and compliance-related HR documentation as required.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

HR Administration
  • Handle routine HR administrative activities.

  • Coordinate office-related employee requirements.

  • Assist management in implementing HR policies and procedures.

  • Prepare HR reports, MIS and employee-related statements.

  • Maintain proper documentation and records for management review.

  • Coordinate with different departments for smooth HR and administrative functioning.

Candidate Requirements
  • Female candidates preferred.

  • Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in HR or relevant HR qualification will be an advantage.

  • 2–5 years of experience in HR Operations / HR & Administration preferred.

  • Strong understanding of day-to-day HR processes.

  • Experience in employee coordination, grievance handling, payroll coordination and employee records management.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good organizational and documentation skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information.

  • Mature, responsible and professional approach to employee-related matters.

  • Ability to coordinate effectively with employees, management and different departments.

Language Requirement
  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi are required.

  • Candidate should be a Non-Bengali.

Compensation
