English Teacher (Phonics) Part-Time, Remote

Position Overview

Spellzee is looking for a passionate and engaging English Teacher specializing in Phonics to teach young learners online. The role involves delivering effective phonics lessons, assessing student progress, adapting lessons to individual learning needs, and providing constructive feedback.

This is a teaching-focused role with no sales calls, demo conversions, or closures.


Key Responsibilities

Teach phonics and foundational English skills to young learners in an engaging and age-appropriate manner.

Conduct student assessments to understand individual learning levels and requirements.

Prepare and deliver interactive lesson plans.

Adapt teaching methods and activities according to students' learning needs.

Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to the class coordinator.

Build a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

Collaborate with curriculum developers and fellow teachers to improve the learning experience.

Maintain effective classroom and student management during online sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Professional proficiency in spoken English.

Bachelor's degree or higher; a degree in English Literature is preferred.

B.Ed. is an advantage.

TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or similar teaching certifications are preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to connect effectively with young learners.

Strong phonics knowledge and teaching ability.

Freshers and experienced candidates may apply, subject to demonstrating the required teaching skills.

Comfortable using computers and online teaching platforms.

Reliable internet connection.

Must have access to a desktop or laptop.

Job Details

Job Type: Part-time, Contractual

Mode: Remote / Work from Home

Working Hours: Evening shift, approximately 3:00 PM9:00 PM IST

Minimum Commitment: 4 hours per day

Pay: 125200 per hour
