E-Commerce Marketplace Executive - Amazon, Shopify

We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Marketplace Executive based in India to help manage and grow our online marketplace operations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with e Bay Seller Hub and Amazon Seller Central, preferably managing UK or international marketplace accounts.

This is not just a data-entry or basic product-listing position. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for the day-to-day management of our marketplace accounts, identify problems, improve listings and help grow online sales.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage product listings on e Bay, Amazon and Shopify
  • Create new product listings
  • Optimise existing listings
  • Write and improve product titles and descriptions
  • Complete e Bay item specifics and Amazon product attributes
  • Create and manage product variations
  • Upload and organise product images
  • Update product prices
  • Update stock quantities
  • Monitor marketplace inventory
  • Manage e Bay Seller Hub
  • Manage Amazon Seller Central
  • Manage products through Shopify
  • Monitor orders and identify order problems
  • Help process cancellations and returns
  • Respond to customer messages
  • Handle e Bay and Amazon customer queries
  • Open and follow up marketplace support cases
  • Monitor e Bay account performance
  • Monitor Amazon account health
  • Identify suppressed or inactive Amazon listings
  • Resolve listing errors
  • Monitor e Bay listing performance and impressions
  • Carry out competitor and pricing research
  • Assist with e Bay Promoted Listings
  • Assist with Amazon advertising where required
  • Monitor product performance and sales
  • Maintain Excel and Google Sheets reports
  • Produce regular reports on sales, listings, stock and marketplace issues
  • Identify ways to improve our marketplace processes
  • Work with other team members to improve and automate repetitive e-commerce tasks

Essential Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • At least 2 years of relevant e-commerce marketplace experience
  • Hands-on experience using e Bay Seller Hub
  • Hands-on experience using Amazon Seller Central
  • Experience creating and optimising product listings
  • Good understanding of e Bay item specifics and product categories
  • Good understanding of Amazon listings, variations and attributes
  • Strong written English
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to investigate and solve marketplace problems
  • Reliable internet connection and suitable home working environment
