Overview of the Job

To join our team, we are looking for a dependable and committed delivery driver. The ideal applicant will be in charge of making sure that our clients receive their purchases in a timely and secure manner. Strong customer service skills and the capacity to efficiently manage time while abiding by all safety rules are prerequisites for this position.

Duties

  • Drive a delivery truck safely while adhering to all traffic laws and rules.
  • As needed, carry out heavy lifting while loading and unloading cargo.
  • To make sure the car is in good operating order, inspect it both before and after the trip.
  • Keep thorough records of all deliveries, including the times of delivery and any problems that may arise.
  • Effectively communicate delivery schedules and any modifications to clients and warehouse employees.
  • Throughout the delivery process, respond to any queries or worries from customers to demonstrate exceptional customer service.
  • When not on delivery, help with warehouse tasks like organising and managing inventory.

Skills

  • It is desirable if you have prior delivery driving experience.
  • A valid driving licence and a spotless driving record are essential; PERSON> driving experience is preferred.
  • It helps to know the rules governing commercial driving.
  • Excellent driving abilities with an emphasis on efficiency and safety.
  • Possessing prior warehousing experience is advantageous.
