Commercial Operations Director – Commercial Excellence

Job Description:

  • Lead MiniMed commercial transformation and operational excellence initiatives across the Emerging EMEA region
  • Drive sales enablement, commercial analytics, operational governance, and indirect channel management
  • Design and deliver competency training programs and incentive strategies
  • Create and implement StartUp training curriculum for new salespeople
  • Develop competency frameworks across sales roles and experience levels
  • Lead regional commercial upskilling strategy, including curriculum design, content development, and delivery
  • Design and implement Sales Incentive Plan strategies
  • Evaluate and deploy enablement tools and platforms
  • Establish governance, measurement frameworks, and continuous improvement processes
  • Generate commercial insights through data analysis, market research, and competitive intelligence
  • Develop predictive analytics to forecast sales performance and optimize resource allocation
  • Establish governance frameworks, policies, and standards for commercial excellence
  • Monitor KPIs and develop dashboards for sales enablement and commercial execution
  • Oversee indirect channel partner enablement programs
  • Develop partner competency frameworks and incentive programs
  • Implement channel management processes and performance standards
  • Build and maintain partner relationships and provide strategic guidance
  • Monitor channel performance and coach partners to optimize productivity
  • Manage tendering, contracting execution, and portal administration
  • Manage event operations, vendor and logistics coordination, healthcare compliance, reporting, approvals, and post-event follow-up

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in sales enablement, commercial excellence and operations, or related functions within complex, global organizations
  • Minimum of 7 years of people management experience
  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing sales training programs, competency frameworks, and enablement strategies
  • Strong background in sales incentive design, analytics, and performance management
  • Proven ability to develop and interpret complex business analytics, dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Experience managing indirect channels or partner enablement programs
  • Excellent project management and change management capabilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence across organizational levels
  • Fluency in English; additional EMEA regional languages highly valuable
  • Willingness to travel within the Emerging EMEA region as needed
  • Proficiency in analytics, metrics, and using insights to drive business decisions
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, revenue models, and commercial dynamics
