Role: Commercial Analytics Lead

Required Skill Set: -

TCS is seeking a Commercial Analytics Lead to build, take to market, and scale our Commercial Analytics practice serving Life Sciences and adjacent regulated industries. This is a senior, client-facing leadership role that combines deep domain expertise with offering development, delivery ownership, and team building. The successful candidate will shape differentiated Commercial Analytics offerings, position and sell them to clients, and stand up the multidisciplinary teams required to deliver them with quality and at scale.

The role is pivotal to growing TCS footprint across pharma, biotech and MedTech accounts.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) - :

•12-15 years in analytics / consulting, with substantial Commercial Analytics experience in Life Sciences / Pharma and ideally adjacent domains such as MedTech, healthcare, or CPG.

  • Domain data ecosystems deep understanding of pharma commercial data ( claims, prescription / sales data, and secondary sources).
  • Offering creation — proven track record of building and selling analytics offerings, not only delivering projects.
  • Analytics depth — strong command of segmentation, forecasting, ML, marketing-mix / attribution, and optimisation, on modern data / AI platforms.
  • Team leadership — demonstrated experience building and leading delivery teams in a consulting or services environment.
  • Consulting skills — excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presence.
  • Education — Bachelor's / Master's in a quantitative, business, or life-sciences discipline; MBA an advantage.
Good-to-Have
  • Familiarity with regulated-industry data governance (data privacy, HIPAA, GDPR, GxP-adjacent considerations). • Experience applying GenAI / agentic analytics in a commercial context. • Exposure to global delivery models and multi-geography client engagement. • Prior experience establishing or scaling an Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE).
SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role - 1 Offering Development & Productization • Design, productize and continuously refine Commercial Analytics offerings — patient analytics, sales force effectiveness, market access, brand performance, omnichannel / HCP engagement, incentive compensation, and demand forecasting.
  • Translate emerging market needs and technologies (AI / GenAI, agentic analytics, advanced segmentation) into repeatable, differentiated solutions, accelerators and reusable assets.
  • Develop commercial models, value propositions, and pricing constructs for each offering, aligned to ABC go-to-market strategy.

2 Client Delivery & Engagement: • Lead client engagements end-to-end — from problem framing and solution design through delivery and measurable value realisation. • Act as a trusted advisor to commercial, brand, and market-access stakeholders across Life Sciences clients. • Own delivery quality, timelines, and outcomes across multiple concurrent engagements
