Required CNC Operator Key Responsibilities: - Machine Setup:Preparing CNC machines for production by installing tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to engineering drawings and specifications. - Programming and Adjustments:Making necessary adjustments to machine parameters (speeds, feeds, offsets) and potentially performing basic CNC programming to ensure accurate and efficient machining. - Quality Control:Conducting first-piece inspections and using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to verify that parts meet quality standards. - Troubleshooting:Identifying and resolving issues that arise during machine operation, minimizing downtime and maintaining production flow. - Maintenance:Performing routine checks on machines, maintaining tooling inventory, and ensuring a clean and secure work environment. - Collaboration:Working closely with programmers, operators, and other team members to optimize production and meet deadlines. - Safety:Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
