<strong>Job Requirements </strong><br><p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring that equipment is maintained in good working condition, and providing patient care before, during, and after procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in a cath lab setting and a good understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures and safety protocols.</p><br/><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and maintain the cardiac catheterization lab and equipment for procedures.</li><li>Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker implantation.</li><li>Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, including vital signs, oxygen saturation, and cardiac rhythm.</li><li>Administer medications and intravenous fluids as ordered by the physician.</li><li>Assist in the insertion and removal of sheaths, catheters, and other devices.</li><li>Operate and maintain equipment, including the cardiac monitor, pressure transducers, and radiographic equipment.</li><li>Maintain accurate and complete records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.</li><li>Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.</li><li>Participate in the orientation and training of new cath lab personnel.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the cath lab manager.</li></ul><br/><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.</li><li>2-3 years of experience in a cath lab setting.</li><li>Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and safety protocols.</li><li>Experience with cath lab equipment, including the cardiac monitor, pressure transducers, and radiographic equipment.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to handle stressful situations and work under pressure.</li><li>Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.</li></ul><br/><p>We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
