Business Analyst – Collateral Management

Project description

The Business Analyst will be responsible for defining and delivering the Securities Services collateral management capability, with primary focus on the planned use of Broadridge Collateral Management (SFCM). The role will translate business, operations, risk, credit and technology needs into clear requirements, operating workflows, interfaces, controls, reports and UAT acceptance criteria for collateral onboarding, valuation, exposure monitoring, LTV / breach management and margin-call related processes

Responsibilities

Translate requirements for collateral onboarding, acceptable instruments, eligibility rules, haircuts, margins, concentration checks, collateral valuation and exposure monitoring into BRD / FSD / user stories and traceable acceptance criteria.

Define data and integration requirements for positions, trades, prices, limits and exposures across the custody platform, Broadridge SFCM, market / static data sources and other bank systems as applicable.

Develop process maps, data lineage, reconciliation approach and control design for MT535 / API / manual position feeds, incremental trade updates, mark-to-market valuation and collateral value recalculation.

Support decisions on tactical versus target-state solution design, including what can be handled through SFCM configuration versus items requiring enhancement, integration or project funding.

Drive UAT preparation and execution, including test scenarios for collateral value, exposure / LTV calculation, breach alerts, margin-call triggers, dashboard / reporting outputs and operational hand-offs.

Responsible for defining, challenging and baselining BA artefacts including scope, requirements, process maps, user stories, traceability matrix, UAT scenarios and business sign-off packs.

Can recommend fit-gap outcomes, prioritization, control requirements and release scope; final decisions on funding, vendor commitments, risk acceptance and go-live remain with accountable governance forums.
