About the Role

We're looking for a Backend Developer / Tester (02 years' experience) with a strong foundation in Python and hands-on exposure to Django. This role suits a fresher or early-career developer who has gained practical experience through an internship, previous job, or a substantial academic/personal project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and test backend applications using Python and Django
  • Work on APIs, backend logic, database interactions, and application workflows
  • Write clean, reusable, maintainable Python code
  • Debug backend issues and identify root causes of application errors
  • Perform functional and API-level testing of backend features
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, working with the dev team to resolve them
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to translate requirements into backend features
  • Perform basic database operations and understand data flow across the backend
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment
  • Work with basic DevOps practices Git, deployment workflows, environments, application logs
  • Help ensure the platform's stability, reliability, and performance
Must-Have Skills Python Hands-on experience via internship, job, or a meaningful project. Solid grasp of Python fundamentals (functions, classes, data structures, exception handling) and ability to debug/troubleshoot.

Django Project-level experience is mandatory: at least one project built with Django, with basic understanding of its architecture (models, views, URLs, templates, ORM). Familiarity with building or consuming APIs is a plus.

Basic DevOps Knowledge — Comfortable with Git/GitHub; working understanding of deployment, environment variables, logs, or CI/CD. Docker knowledge is a bonus.

Testing & Debugging — Understanding of software testing fundamentals; ability to test backend functionality and APIs; strong debugging and problem-solving skills; can identify, reproduce, and document bugs clearly.
