Job Purpose -
Drishti IAS is hiring educators for its UPSC YouTube vertical. We are looking for an Associate Faculty to teach in English, with Geography (Indian and World, Physical and Human) as the primary area of expertise. You get subject ownership, a fully supported production setup, and a platform that already reaches lakhs of aspirants. Teach well, build your brand, and shape the learning journey of UPSC aspirants across India.

While Geography is the core subject, we value educators who understand the UPSC exam as a whole and can contribute across the GS syllabus as the vertical grows.

Primary Job Responsibilities -

  • Anchor Geography concept videos (static content), current affairs, revision series, and exam strategy content on YouTube.
  • Cover Geography static content — physical geography, Indian geography, world geography, human and economic geography, and map-based topics — in a clear, exam-oriented way.
  • Create Geography-linked current affairs: climate and weather events, natural disasters, places in news, geospatial developments and resource-related updates, connected to the static syllabus.
  • Take live and recorded sessions in English, with scope to contribute across GS Paper 1–4, CSAT, Essay, and optional subjects as required.
  • Plan content calendars aligned with Prelims, Mains, and Interview cycles.
  • Design study plans, test series, answer writing programs, and value-added playlists.
  • Build and grow your educator brand on Drishti's YouTube and digital platforms.
  • Mentor students through Prelims, Mains, and Interview stages.
  • Work closely with in-house production, design, and editorial teams.

Who can apply?

  • Appeared in UPSC CSE Mains or cleared any state PCS exam, OR a proven UPSC subject expert.
  • 1+ years of experience teaching Geography (static + current affairs) or other GS subjects to UPSC aspirants.
  • Strong command over Geography along with a good overall understanding of the UPSC syllabus.
  • Comfortable on camera — existing YouTube/Instagram/edtech presence is a strong plus.
  • Can simplify complex topics and hold an audience.
  • Strong command over spoken and written English as the medium of instruction (working knowledge of Hindi is a plus).
