Role DescriptionNest-In commenced business in FY13 as a Tata Steel Construction Solution, and then became part of Services & Solutions (S&S) business of Tata Steel in Feb’17. While initial focus had been on modular solutions with ease of installation being the key differentiator, at present Nest-In is focusing on developing itself as a leading light-prefab construction solution player. Accordingly, Nest-In is focusing on three businesses: Shelter, Modular and Retail, with growth aspiration of an order book of Rs 500 Cr in FY23 and Rs 1000 Cr. in FY25.TenderingPreparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new businessMeeting with clients to find out their requirements Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client’s own representatives Production of contract documentation and change controls and ensuring timely signature by authorised personnel Attending relevant meetings as required Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the scheme without delays Ensure site team compliance with Company commercial policies and procedures Attend tender handover meetings and deliver pre-start meetings to the site team Ensure correct commercial engagement with clients and subcontractorsContracting Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers Overseeing invoicing at the end of a project and help team in Claim management Collating contract document and proactively gathering and processing relevant data for effective contract management Assisting with service reviews and actively following issues through until satisfactory resolution Generating reports on various aspects of supplier performance against the contractual requirements and feed back to the internal system Monitoring supplier’s performance against SLAs in relevant contracts Attending relevant meetings as required Contributing to the work of the group through production or improvement of procedures and work instructions and providing input to the development of corporate databases that support the work of the contract management team. Ensure procurement and reconciliation of materials is carried out in accordance with Company procedures to best value and to prevent delays Implement the risk management process, review risk register and check risk controls Build and maintain relationships with both the client and external customers Chair and lead meetings with the customer and report on progress to dateRepresent Nest-In- in case of any arbitration and act as arbitrator (need based)SkillsAbility to work in multi-cultural environment, candidate ready to work in different locations of India, Analytical & Decision making skills, ability to influence, excellent verbal and written communications, agility, assertiveExperience of Pre-Qualification and Tendering process for a number of multi-discipline projectsBachelors Degree in Civil / Mechanical with extensive experience of managing infrastructure and residential projects.
