App testers for an India credit card rewards app (recommendation accuracy, UI and speed)

We are launching a credit card rewards app for India. Its core promise is to tell a user the best card to use for a given spend. If the recommendation is wrong, the product has no value. We need testers to prove it works before launch.

WHAT YOU WILL TEST

1. Recommendations. Run spends through many scenarios. Vary spend category, amount, merchant, payment method, portal, UPI versus card swipe, and the cards the user holds. Check that the recommended card and the reward value are correct against the reference rules we give you.

2. UI functionality. Test card comparison, my cards, lounge access, deals, card visuals and every other feature. Cover wrong inputs, empty states, broken flows and visual glitches across devices and OS versions.

3. Search speed and appearance. Measure how long a search takes to return results. Check how results appear on screen and whether the layout jumps, flickers or loads in pieces. Report times per scenario, device and network.

WHAT YOU DELIVER (DONE MEANS)

- A test matrix in a shared sheet that lists every scenario run with pass or fail

- Every recommendation mismatch logged with steps to reproduce, expected result, actual result, the card involved and a screenshot

- Every UI bug logged with steps, device, OS version, severity and a screenshot or recording

- A search speed table with time to results per scenario, device and network, and the number of runs behind each time

- A short sign-off note at the end of each cycle that lists open bugs by severity

- Retest of fixed bugs inside the same cycle

HOW WE WORK

- We hire 3 testers. Work splits by strength, with some overlap so missed cases get caught.

- We provide reference rules for reward calculations and a test build. Use test data only. Do not enter real personal or card details.

- You sign a confidentiality note before you see the build.

- Pay is hourly through Upwork. Logged hours must match records in the test sheet.

- Work runs 1 to 3 months through pre-launch, with extra cycles after launch.

WHAT WE NEED

- Close attention to detail. You enjoy finding the one case that breaks.

- Clear, structured bug reports.

- Discipline to work a large test matrix without skipping cases.

- Enough knowledge of Indian credit cards to see when a reward output looks wrong.

- Your own phone or devices. Tell us which ones.

NICE TO HAVE

- Fintech or payments testing

- Test case management tools

- A personal interest in credit card rewards
